Dr Patrick Allo

Research Associate

Patrick Allo is research policy advisor of the Faculty of Law at KULeuven and a part-time researcher at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. From 2015 to 2017 he was a Marie Sklodowska-Curie fellow at the Digital Ethics Lab.

He has worked on topics in philosophical logic, the philosophy of information, the philosophy of mathematical practices, and information visualisation. His current work focuses on the role of mathematical values and of conceptions of good science within data science.

Reserach Interests include epistemology of data science, mathematics and data science, philosophy of information, logic and information, and information visualisation
